If you attempt to make a payment, but the payment is declined or you cancel it midstream, you may still see a temporary authorization appear on your card statement.
If you tried paying multiple times, or had an unsuccessful attempt before a successful one, you may see more than one authorization on your statement.
These are temporary and will drop off your statement within a day or so. You can check with your bank to make sure, but if you didn't proceed all the way to the order confirmation screen, then we did not collect any payment from you.
If an authorization persists past 48 hours, please let us know (or better yet, your bank). We can also look into your case specifically to verify whether or not we have a completed transaction in our order records.
(If you misspelled your email address, for example, you could potentially have completed an order, but not have gotten an order confirmation email.)
